My name is Annarita and I’m from Castel Frentano, a small town in the Province of Chieti, in Abruzzo. I grew up in a large family with supportive parents and was raised with a strict upbringing—which, in those days, was just the way it was supposed to be, or at least that’s what I’d like to believe. It taught me sacrifice, discipline, and to do without frills; if you wanted them, you had to earn them by working.
Coming from a self-assured family, I—the youngest of five siblings—always felt like a fish out of water: insecure, shy, and constantly afraid. I was a real disaster; people often asked me where I’d come from, and they were right. In any case, I grew up, worked, and sometimes took the wrong paths, but despite everything, thanks to my parents, I got back on track—obviously by working hard.
It was the year 2021 when my father suddenly passed away for no apparent reason; a few years later, in 2023, my mother passed away, and before I even realized it, I was left alone—yes, with my siblings, but it’s not the same anymore.
But thanks to God and my parents’ teachings, we’ve moved forward—even though I sometimes lose my way, giving in to my own desires, committing serious sins, smoking, judging others, and engaging in quite a few less-than-praiseworthy activities.
Anyway, I won’t go on and on, but one November evening, while scrolling through my phone, I came across videos about Jesus and many quotes from the Bible. I replied to a video that brought me peace, posted by a TikToker, telling them that we really need messages like these because they convey peace and serenity. He kindly replied, saying, “Thank you so much,” and gave me advice on how to find what I needed.
It was something very simple: read the Bible. I thank God for having set me on this path because it’s transforming me into a better version of myself. I have peace, I have love, I have serenity, I have abundance within my soul—I no longer have fear. I face the challenges that come my way day after day in every area of life with Jesus—with calm, tolerance, and love.
For me, true and sincere love is Jesus
My Lord
And now that He is within me, I will never abandon Him
Glory to God❤️
