July 5th marked a spiritual turning point for Veronica, AnnaRita, Marika, Annamaria, and Angelica, who through baptism by immersion obeyed Jesus, combining three fundamental elements:
- Informed choice: A personal and mature decision of faith, made in adulthood.
- Death and resurrection: Immersion symbolizes the burial of the past and the birth to a new life.
- Public declaration: An open testimony before God, the Church, and society.
This act does not represent a milestone, but the official beginning of their discipleship. From that moment, the five women committed to “following Jesus” day by day in their daily lives, through prayer, Bible study, and service within the community.
